New serverless architecture

 

The 7 platform release of Aptify provides a new serverless deployment model using Azure PaaS(z) offering. The new cloud-native architecture provides for more data security, governance enhancements, improved scalability, and optimal performance.  

Enhanced e-Business 7 features

 

e-Business 7 is an e-commerce website with a front-end sample site written in HTML and JavaScript (or your organization's favorite development language), that interacts directly with the database via easy-to-create API endpoints. Members can interact with your organization in any way you can think of, from buying products like subscriptions, membership, publications, meetings and events, and other general products, to managing their profile, their company’s profile, and their history with the organization.
  • “Related product” widget: Boost sales and drive visitors to your online store and with related products with in the shopping cart and custom event details pages.
  • Committees in e-Business 7.0: This self-service option shows a member more information about committees they are a part of, including active, past, and future committees.

New features & enhancements

  • Generic Entity (GE) metadata refactoringChanges have been made to reduce memory consumption since earlier versions. 
  • Record-pinning improvements Several usability improvements have been added to assist users in navigating and finding pinned records. 
  • Upgraded Crystal Report runtime engine The latest version of the Crystal Report Engine for v13 has been reviewed, and upgrade instructions will be provided to update to the latest Service pack. 
  • Prompted view and SSRS reporting issues resolved Users can now filter correctly when loading from an ELV, and with more than one prompt.

Many of the new capabilities in the Aptify 7.0 release are Azure-native, giving your IT team and your organization the modern benefits of the Azure environment through Aptify. Customers who do not have Azure cloud hosting can still upgrade to Aptify 7.0, but they will not have access to the Azure-enabled capabilities.

  • CI/CD Pipeline: Synchronously develop and automate deployments across the organization using Azure Devops.
